How NECTA Grading Works
CSEE Grading (Form Four / O-level)
Each CSEE subject is graded on a letter scale. Grade A is the highest, F is a fail. The grading scale is:

How divisions are calculated
A student's division is calculated by adding the points from their best seven subjects. Lower total points = better division.

| Division III | 22 – 25 |
| Division IV | 26 – 33 |
| Division 0 | 34 or more |
Division I is the highest. Division 0 means the student did not pass. A student must pass at least five subjects (grade D or better) to be awarded a division.
Example: A student scores A, B, B, C, C, D, D in their best seven subjects = 1+2+2+3+3+4+4 = 19 points = Division II.
ACSEE Grading (Form Six / A-level)
ACSEE uses a different scale for principal subjects (the subjects counted towards university selection):

University selection is based on points earned across the three principal subjects. The maximum is 15 points (three grade As).
